I have a problem with the AR8151 on the HP Pavilion dm4-2070us under Windows 10. Everything worked fine before upgrading to Windows 7. Will you help?

So after doing some digging, I found out that for Win 10 you have to be using Driver v2.1.0.26 which was released in 2016. Located the driver on this website:

Installation procedure:
1) Download driver, save it onto desktop for easy access
2) Start "Device Manager"
3) Click "Network Adapters"
4) Right Click "Qualcomm Atheros AR 8151..."
5) "Update Driver"
6) Click "Browse my computer for driver software"
7) Click "Let me pick from a list..."

9) Click "Browse"
10) Locate & Select the files that have been downloaded (if its saved onto your desktop, you should be able to scroll down to see that there's a file called "netl1c63x64" setup file (I'm running 64bit btw).
10) Update the driver and mine worked instantly!! Took me few hours of trial and error with various drivers... Hope this helps!
