Driver Atheros AR8151 for my Asus x73e

I recently re-installed windows 7 on my laptop, and since having done so, it has been unable to connect to the internet, despite being able to prior to the reinstall.
I looked at the hardware PCI ID and it was listed as PCI\VEN_1969&DEV_1083 and from there I looked it up online to look for the right driver on another computer. Apparently, the driver I'm supposed to use is the Atheros AR8151 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller (NDIS 6.20). I looked up this download, moved it over to the laptop, and ran the setup.
After installing the driver, I get an error Nr. 10.
I'm on an asus model x73e laptop.
    Will you help me somehow?

The Code 10 error is one of several Device Manager error codes. It's generated when Device Manager can't start the hardware device, a situation usually caused by outdated or corrupted drivers.

Try one of the following drivers:
    Windows 7 driver | Windows 8 driver | Windows 10 driver

You should download and install all drivers from Asus support site starting with chipset drivers, reboot, followed by the rest of the drivers. This is particularly important after reinstalling Windows. Also make sure you are installing the correct drivers (64-bit or 32-bit) for your version of Windows.
